NFL Week 16 Preview: Green Bay Packers vs. Miami Dolphins

After having a hot five-game winning streak, with four games delivering more than 30 points, the Miami Dolphins had a tough stretch and lost on three straight games. They have not scored more than 30 points since then and have been limited to a 17-point performance twice.

This week, they are looking to have some breathing room and get closer to the playoffs. Hosting the Green Bay Packers who have won their last two games, but are still at the third spot in the AFC North, with a 6-8 record.

Packers vs. Dolphins: Week 16 Preview

The Miami Dolphins are heading to Week 16 after their 32-29 loss against the Buffalo Bills. The Bills already secure the top spot in the AFC while the Fins still need some wins to secure the playoff spot. Tua Tagovailoa still finished with w234 yards on 17/30 through the air and a couple of touchdowns.

The Fins have a decent offense overall with 24.6 PPG (9th in the league). They have earned a total of 3,830 passing yards and their 370.4 yards per meeting is currently fifth in the league. However, one of their weak points was their rushing game. They are one of the six teams which average less than 100 rushing yards per game and it has been evident that they can not run this season.

Meanwhile, the Packers have 4,838 total yards for this season, with 156 1st downs. However, they have committed 77 penalties for 642 yards and suffered a total of 19 turnovers, 10 interceptions and nine fumbles. They are not as great as the Fins in terms of scoring with only 20.5 PPG but they are better in the running game with 126.3 rushing yards per game.
