The Orange City variant of the Racing and Card Club venues features the same off-track betting, poker rooms, tournaments, and Lucky North Card as the northern Orlando casino at Daytona Beach. The overall effect of this is to pull much of Orlando’s casino-style entertainment out into the suburbs and towards popular resorts. On the plus side, the Orange City club is open overnight on Friday and Saturday.
In any case, for Casino Florida readers who are only interested in the delights of Orange City, the Racing and Card Club offers regular (weekly and monthly) Texas Hold’em poker tournaments but without the support of Great American Poker. There’s also a significantly smaller range of poker variants on offer, with Pai Gow a noticeable absentee from its 40 tables. As far as eateries are concerned, Orange City has Jake’s 29 Sports Bar & Grill.
